Hello again. Another impulse buy has arrived, this time it’s Fraulein’s Rin from Fate Stay Night.
There will be a larger write up later when I can take some better photos.
It’s a bit tiring to hear these days, but I’m closing down the shop, throwing in the towel so to speak, very soon. I thought blogging would be fun, but in the end the only fun part was the photography of the figures, good or bad. The lack of comments is a little disheartening, but it’s apart of the blogging world I suppose. I just can’t find the time to blog anymore, and it’s especially not worth it without others’ input, which is all I wanted.
After this I’ll probably start a weekly webcomic, or practice photography minus the blog.

Figma Rin is looking a ton better IMO, but I plan on buying both series anyhow.
I just don’t like the face.. but revoltech’s posability is good.. :)
Yeah her face is a bit strange. The articulation system promises to work, but it falls short, especially the shoulder joints. While you can get a lot of poses from her arms, they fall out relatively easily. Her hip joints aren’t so great with the skirt preventing a 90 degree angle for good sitting down poses.
Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t a bad figure. I just had all these ideas for poses before ordering it, and I feel a bit let down now that I know I can’t really do most of them.
Maybe I’m just bad at posing? ^^;
