meg, from burst angel.

For now I’m calling these test photos until I get more aqquainted with this new camera.

Pics : (+1)  (+2)  (+3)  (+4)  (+5)  (+6)  (+7)

To view as a set, click ((here)). IMO they look much better smaller.

Ok, I know what you’re thinking; “This guy Kintaro is a newbie at taking photos!” And it’s true ^^; I barely know anything about cameras besides pointing and shooting. But that won’t stop me from attempting to take pictures :D. Mostly I looked to Super Rat’s tutorial for figure shooting, but the light I had was a bit too harsh, + the diffuser I made didn’t work out quite well. I plan on getting better materials, (bigger construction paper, tracing paper, a better lamp) tomorrow when I’m out getting paint for my Crossbone.

And yes, this is my first time taking pictures of a figure ^^. If you haven’t noticed already, I tried taking pictures of Meg, my first and only anime figure ATM. I attempted to capture some of her dynamics, but it’s damn near impossible for me..(+ frustrating) You’ll notice most, if not all pictures out of focus in some way, and probably over photoshopped, but that was probably me trying to cover up the crappy lighting. Majority (I think all) of the pictures show the seams between the construction paper (I tried gluing pieces together because I couldn’t find any bigger pieces.)

I couldn’t tell you any settings like F-stop or anything, except that they’re probably not correct or the most effective settings. I did however shoot on manual. (I barely remember anything from photography class from way back when.) Anyway, take a gander, any pointers would be much appreciated!
